Top 5 "Thrash" albums, these on your list?

Was gonna say Death Leprosy. Also any Warbringer album!

I didn't grow up during the classic thrash era, that's probably why I don't love it. But Ride the Lightning is awesome.

Slayer - Reign in Blood
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss
Sacrifice - Soldiers of Misfortune
Forbidden - Twisted into Form

The honorable mention list would be a mile long...

Testament - The Gathering
Toxik - Think This
Annihilator - Never, Neverland
Coronor - Mental Vortex
Overkill - Horrorscope

1. Overkill - The Years of Decay (the album that opened my ears to the greatness of thrash)
2. Sepultura - Arise
3. Megadeth - Rust in Peace
4. Metallica - And Justice for All
5. Believer - Sanity Obscure

Honorable mentions:
Horrorscope – Overkill
W.F.O. – Overkill
Seasons in the Abyss – Slayer
South of Heaven - Slayer
Act III – Death Angel
Coma of Souls – Creator
Mental Vortex – Coroner
Handle with Care – Nuclear Assault
No Place for Disgrace – Flotsam & Jetsam
Good to finally see Sepultura!

Cool to see some Razor on a few lists.

I'll probably be one of the more basic lists, but whatever.

1. Slayer - Seasons In the Abyss
2. Megadeth - Peace Sells
3. Overkill - Years of Decay
4. Anthrax - Among The Living
5. Suicidal Tendencies - Lights...Camera...Revolution

Surprised no one’s mentioned Onslaught or Artillery.
I’ll try and list the top live shows I’ve seen by thrash bands.

Metallica MOP tour opening for Ozzy
Demolition Hammer- Full Terror Assault 2019 I think
Morbid Saint - tiny bar in Columbus (my band opened , they used our gear).
Nuclear Assault - Carolina Chainsaw Fest last year. John was sober.
Megadeth on SFSGSW the Newport in Columbus
Testament. At least one of the 15 times I’ve seen them.
So many more.

Slayer-Reign in Blood
Metallica-Kill ‘em All
Sepultura- Arise
Nuclear Assault-Handle With Care
Anthrax-Among The Living
sneaky #6 Wargasm-Why Play Around

I don’t consider Rust in Piece and MOP thrash. They are so above musically what thrash makes me think of and feel that even though they have fast songs..? I just consider them masterpieces above classification.

For a band not from the 80’s I dig Toxic Holocaust’s ..Overdose of Death and Conjure and Command
