Tortex Sharp plecs, who else uses them?

They're the best of both worlds for me; sharp like a Jazz 3 for picking accuracy on single strings, but big enough to grab on to when you want to feel there's something there when you're playing rhythm.

Anyone else into these? I use the white 1.5mm ones myself.

I've been through a variety of picks over the years. Tried the Jazz III small & regular & loved them at first but moved away from them.
I use the Tortex 'The Wedge' now. Not too sharp, plenty of control & durable.

I'll either grab a TIII 1.5 or the Sharp 1.5, I dig both of them and I like to freak people out when they ask what I use and I hand them one.

I use the. 88 ones. I can't get uses to a regular pick after using these for about a year now.

I've always used tortex. Have used light. Heavy, mid.

I stuck with .073mm

Anything else is just too big for me.

I did use the 88 for a long time tho. Maybe 4 years steady.

I have been using the Pitch Black 1.14's for a while now and it's like you said...just can't use a "regular" pick anymore, too big.
Really like the sharp tip and the small size is just perfect for me.

I switched to JIII or JIII pitch black a year or so ago and love them. I have been very interested in Sharps, but I worry they will wear out too quickly. I have taken standard Tortex and sanded them down sharp. Then it seemed like the point wore off in like hours lol.

I did the exact same thing! The ultex sharps wear out super quick as well. Now I'm hooked on the J3 pitch blacks.

i like any tortex pick and you can sharpen them on your carpet. I have really been digging thin picks like the tortex III reds or orange!

1mm Ultex Sharp for me. Can't go back to regular picks either.

I used to use them then went to the stubby now i only use the Dunlop Jazztone 208 point tip . The don't wear out or bend great tone and for me they don't slip. I have not used any other pic for the last 4 years. Give one a try you may be surprised how much control you have with a thick pick.

I use Pitch Black Jazz III's or black Jazz III's. I really like the Tortex Jazz III"s. Perfect. I can't use those giant "regular" picks either lol!

I use both the Tortex .60mm & the tortex .73mm....Mostly i use the .60mm

Green Tortex .88's for me.

Have been using these for quite a while. They just feel right.

I've used Tortex T3 since they came out (.73 and .88).

However, I'm currently in love with Techra picks. Hard to find......but extremely fast and sound much better than Tortex. Jazz tip guys probably won't like them though.
