Hi I bought a blackstar live logic midi controller to use with the VH4.
https://blackstaramps.com/live-logic/
The board has 6 switches and two modes, patch and custom.
In patch you have 4 switches plus bank up and bank down switches.
In custom all 6 switches can be assigned freely.
I connected my midi cable from the out of the board to the in of the amp and could configure it in PATCH mode using the store function on the VH4, but that's not what I want to do.
I wanted to use all 6 switches, 1 for each channel plus the 5th to turn on the parallel loop for a volume boost and the 6th to mute. But I can't seem to make it work using the store function on the amp nor the app on my computer.
You can choose the type of message (PC, CC, note, clock or none), you can choose midi channel omni or assign a number and you can choose a program number, plus momentary, on value, off value, and none of it makes any sense to me. I just know that when in custom mode nothing on the board seem to have any effect on the amp.
Can anyone help?
