2204s are my favorite amps. I've played ones ranging from '78 to '90, and each and every one was awesome.

Just a quick bump for a nice looking amp but I didn't know they still made 2204s in the late 80s. The 2205 had more gain correct? These don't have anymore gain than and early 80s model do they?

This amp has the typical 800 gain structure and boosts well.

They made them till 1990 - I have a '90 2204! GLWTS
