Strings are dead, but the character still comes through. Amperex!

F70's are great. Hearing a Vintage 30 after playing Fanes for a while is like having some drunk bump into the Graphic EQ on your Stereo..


The Fanes are rich and detailed but they don't hurt your ears at volume. The upper mids are evenly represented, not just 1 nasally band..

This is why I prefer Mesa V30's!
 
I built it from the Kelly Schematic on The Amp Garage Forum 10 years ago already.. Yikes..
I got the Chassis and Cabinet from rjguitars.net on the same forum. I used Classic Tone Transformers..
I laid it out my own way tho.. This is a total one off. I'm no amp builder..
