I've been using the TC Spark Booster with my DSL as well. I love it!

I just bought a TC Spark Mini - great little pedal that can add a hint of boost, to a ton of boost. Very transparent, quiet, and under $50!

Where did you find it under $50 ?

$49.99 or less on Reverb. Got mine there new for $42 shipped.

I should have probably looked around before I asked cause you`re right there`s a bunch on eBay for less that $50 new. Do find it adds any hint of color or tightness to a medium to high gain tone? I like a boost that tightens bass and adds a little saturation and it`s hard for me at least to find a pedal that does that with going overboard

I don't have a high gain amp, but, the range on the boost knob is pretty wide. So, if you have it set to 7:00, it provides a hair of boost and also tightens things up a bit - at least on my JMP it does.

Get one for $45, and sell it if you don't dig it!

A local store had one for $79.95  ordered one at MF for $49.95 . Thanks for the heads up on the price

Xotic RC Booster. More transparent than my Koko Boost and that's the reason I don't use it. I like the coloration the Koko or an EP Booster add.
 RC booster is the best clean boost I've used. Had it for 7-8 years now

Got my Spark Mini today . In the loop of my Splawn SS the clean boost is very transparent and if needed it can supply a huge boost .I'm gonna leave it there for a hint of clean boost and keep a TS type pedal up front for the tightness and a little saturation

I have been using TC Electronic Spark minis recently. I think they are pretty transparent. There may be better ones.

This.

Cool! Cheap enough to just hold onto and use it when you need it.

Spend 30 bucks and try a Danelectro Fish n Chips eq pedal. Great with an already distorted amp. Transparent. My JCM 800 loves it.

Or, a Boss GE-7 if you're not into plastic!

  Yeah they are cheap...but I've had a GE 7, MXR...none sounded as transparent as the FnC. Splitting hairs but the Boss colored it beyond what you do with the sliders IMO.

JHS Morning Glory
Maxon OD820
Klon KTR
Keeley Time Machine is awesome, or Katana or Java boost too
