can hb/hbe/sat/fat mods be applied to traynor amps form the late 60's to early 70's, example model YBA-3, YGM-3. Mark3, YBA-1A, YVM-1 ?
cheers

traynor model YBA-3 custom special model 1967-69. has huge hammond transformers. Can you do most of your marshall mods to this amp ?

this YBA-3, do most of the guts stay intact? or are they removed and all new installed or just a few parts removed? i think some of the small caps. maybe leaking. Transformers stay ? this amp has no give, its clean to 9.5 on vol. knob
thanks Dave for your time, very appreciated.

A lot stays but some changes. Yeah the amp will be kind of brutal.

Brutal meaning distortion monster with way too much volume? And crappy tone or great tone monster to play outdoor gigs and have the soundman go mad hehe
