Yes I have the Mark I. As far as differences... the Mk I has 6L6s instead of EL34s. The channels were revoiced to better transition from one to another. And the cosmetics are nicer on the Mark II. However, the Mark I is still one hell of an amp. For me, it is definately a keeper amp. I might purchase something else down the road, but the TA Mk I isn't going anywhere. Hughes & Kettner sent me instructions on what components to change if I want to run EL34s in the amp... at some point, I may do that- but I'm in no hurry, as it sounds great the way it is.

The major difference is that you can pickup a Mark I for $1200 - $1400USD verses $2300USD+ for the Mark II.
 
Sounds good. Really fluid gain. I'd like to hear more cut, and a sharper thump on the low end.
