It looks like the Dems are preparing for it, introducing legislation that takes certain powers and “decrees” from the president and requiring it to be legislated thru congress….w/d from the UN being one of them and I suspect more to come.

Correct me if I’m wrong but basically Lincoln enacted special powers during the civil war and no sitting president has ever reversed that. They can kinda do whatever they want. The government is by design built to be slow and ungainly in function. That’s to ensure no dumb gut reaction shit can take place. I don’t know…stuffs crazy. Republicans are stumbling around accomplishing nothing and the Democratic Party just gets worse and worse. The two party system is dead. What we have now is the result. 90% of these politicians are in bed together and the outliers are labeled as nuts or extremists. This election is going to be crazy. Mark my words.

A lot of my lefties got mad hate for me now cuz I don't necessarily think any party is worth voting for

I'm not gonna stop showing agency to their bullshit thinking though, they wanna get on with hyperconformity, that's their hypocritical prerogative.
 
My new neighbors are young blue hairs. Kinda shocking for this area. They are not from here. I get along with them great but I also said that I don’t want to talk politics. The husband said great….? so far we have gotten along really well.

They are not from here, LOL. None of them are from here. They should have their own planet. I got into an argument with my 15 year old kid the other day. He was to hang with someone at school. I asked "Boy or Girl?" Neither he said, "they identify as they."

I said, "Take a seat for a second," and attempted to explain the plural thing. I got nowhere.
