Dude, you are aware of how they formulate the unemployment rate right ? And you are aware that it is FAR from the most important factor in the economy right? Are you seriously arguing that the economy isn't in freefall ? Have you looked at your portfolio/401k/ or whatever lately ?

Doing well compared to what? What you’re doing well in is the same as everyone else. Right now you’re buying low. My wife is a financial advisor and a CPA. I also have a fidelity account. I know yours has taken a hit over the last two years because everyone’s has. As long as you aren’t going to start drawing on it soon you should be good, assuming the market bounces back, but you lost thousands, same as everyone else. The only thing that has been positive in my fidelity account( besides the buying low thing) is that I have a MM account inside it that allows me to day trade my company stock for free.
