Yea man it kinda sucks. The media does play it up a bit though. I’d say chosen at random, 7 out of 10 Americans are largely indifferent to things. They have their own opinions and quirks and are “live and let live” for the most part.
Out of the remaining, 2 out of 10 are the far right, MAGA folks that are just hopelessly mind fucked and angry. The last 1 of ten are the other extreme that think Men can get pregnant and no one should be able to own land.

At least that’s what I’ve noticed in my area. Maybe the red states are further right than I think, but I can’t image the entire Midwest walks around that pissed off and stupid every day of their lives.
