TS-Style vs TC-Style Boost (gotta try out da boosts with my Lenz modded Octane Marshall )

So, what do we have here? We have a heavily modded modern voiced 4 Gain-Stage Rectifier, with a boost on the gain control, which accentuates the mids and the highs and also gives a bit more gain, an adjustable bass frequency pot "Fuel" and an additional tight switch on the Master, which both control the amount of bass that's fed into the input stage(s), a self-explanatory mid shift and a smooth switch, which reduces harsh highs later in the preamp and an attack switch on the depth-control which changes the negative feedback to a similar way like the modern mode on the Rectifier in a Marshall Headshell with Dagnall Transformers with EL34. Pretty much unbeatable, if you ask me. Fair enough, i'm still in a, like you say "Honeymoon-Phase".
In this clip that i recorded a few days ago i kinda overdid it with the fullness. All knobs are pushed in. I had it cranked to MV3 today with the same settings but the "Fuel" on 10 and the gain on 5 with the Deadweald in the Green Channel set like in the Clip. Man, does it rip. The Amp is special. I had many Amps and i tried even more. This Amp's got all i could ask for. Saturation, punch, clarity(maybe not so much in this clip :D), string separation, sparkle openess, compression (both at the same time 🤔 ) it's kinda airy, but it's full, it tracks fast, records well, sits in a mix nicely and i feel connected. You can use it with a boost, or without. It cleans up nicely. It's clanky when you want it to be, but it isn't fizzy.
I just compared it to old(er) clips of my Rev F and my Rev Blue which both use the matching cabs. MF400B with the Lenzifier. The clips have more cut, but they are also pretty fizzy.
Opinions on all 3 please. I'm glad to answer questions.

So essentially it isn't anything close to a Marshall anymore except the heads hell and faceplate? :D It's cool and all but why not just rock a Mesa in the first place? I thought the boosted Bogner was better for that sound.

I love both the TC and TS style boosts but for different purposes.

If I need a little bit more gain and cut, the TS is the right tool - if I need to sculpt the midrange, and have plenty of gain on tap, I prefer the TC

Were you trying to channel some .5 Gray Chapter?

It's a Lenz Octane Circuit in a Marshall. Mesas are too fizzy, boomy and scooped for my taste. I asked him for his most brutal Metal Mod for my 2203 and he replied with a link of his Octane Amp and quote: "I can build the exact same Circuit in it with an extra tube." And i replied: "perfect".
The recorded sound of the Bogner was OK. Maybe a bit thin. And i could never have played with that sound in front of the Amp. The other problem: I couldn't hear the Bogner even with only a Drummer and me playing. The Bogner gets boring fast.

I found it interesting how well the TC worked as a clean boost and made the sound bigger. Other than that clanky modern stuff it's normally known for.
But like you said, you need a high gain amp for that. With the Marshall it always had to much clean bleed even stacked. I was always struggling to find the right balance.
