TU3 or Polytune 2 ?

Which will be better ?
I'm only interested which is more accurate and durable.
I can only decide between this two tuners.

Mu TU80 failed me , I repaired it couple of time but now tuner acts weird - rapid turn offs , tuning is much more inaccurate etc.

Polytune 2 should be more accurate , 0.1 cent instead of 0.5cent.

I would go with the polytune2, unless you need a buffer in your chain and then go with the Boss TU3.

If the tuner is the only pedal in the chain, I would get the buffered Boss TU3.

I would consider one of those tuners you clip onto the headstock of your guitar, so you can just plug straight into your amp.

I found the original polytune to be TOO accurate. Needle bounced around too much. Pitchblack works for me. Just get me in the green and lemme play. Unless you're doing setups, I think anything under 1 cent is a headache.

I don't know how the Polytune 2 is but on the original the polytune part is totally worthless. It either won't track the low E or shows multiple strings as flat even though they are not. The normal strobe part is great however.

i own the turbo tuner and i do feel like in a way it is too accurate! It is crazy accurate! At of all of the pedals mentioned is the only true strobe tuner.

Currently - Only for intonation.
My Tu80 is pretty fucked. It shows me that I'm in tune while my ears tell me something different.
When I tune my guitar using cheap tuner borrowed from my friend - I can get much more accurate result than my Boss.

But in the future - I only want to use straight setup : me>guitar>amp>cab. And nothing between, maybe noise gate but my 6534 is much more quieter than 6505 so it's not necessary.



I really don't care about this fancy tuners with multiple options which 99% I will never use.
For me tuner must be reliable , solid , accurate. That's all.
