Two Notes Captor finally available

Saw gear gods say the built in cab sim was beyond awesome, but then another review said it sucks. Both reviews were emailed to me from two notes. Strange. All the reviews I saw no one did a tone test between normal and the -20db thru. I am very interested in that feature

I'm interested in the -20db, too. Fluff did a review, but there's only like a minute or so of him actually using the box. He talks for the other 5.

Also very curious on its features like the build in cab sim and the -20db. I saw a vid from SpectreSoundStudios and he pretty much said that the built in cab sim for guitar was shit... BUT if you flick the switch to the built in bass cab sim it seemed better.

@stratjacket so is the PS2 better than the Suhr for IR's and what not? Or are you using it mainly for attenuation?

I didn't watch too many videos but I wasn't impressed with what I heard from the cab sim. I'm glad I didn't wait and ended up with the Suhr. For the price though it may still be worth using the Captor just for the load and then use Wall of Sound or other IR's. It's still decently priced if just used for a load box.

The PS2 sounds great. I have not actually used it as a full load box going into a sim and FRFR speaker like I have the Suhr RL setup. I really should do a compare. I have only used it with my real cabs. Sounds amazing between my Herbert and Diezel cab. I mainly got it because it can handle (at least rated) the Herbert wattage, where the SRL is 100W.

I asked a buddy who runs a well known recording studio in Hollywood to check it out at Namm. He said the two notes exhibitors were uninterested in showing him their products and when they did give a demo it sounded metallic. He said the tone was terrible and quickly fatigued his ears.
