It seems to crash mine... now it is true that Mixbus v3 like all Mixbus programs is a bit of a bitch but it is crashing at an alarming rate. For one, if i bring a project back up that had WOS in it, the insert is locked out and i don't get the impulse. The minute i try to go into it , FREEZE/CRASH. Yikes, I guess I stick with Nadir as it works like a dream. No fancy pictures or anything but works great and sounds a tad diff ( if that is even possible. )

The downside is that I can't use the impulses I made of my own cabs (Jer you try those yet??) without WOS but there are plenty good enough impulses around and I can always reamp.

It'll lock up for a second if I bring it up as an FX chain with presets etc in Reaper but doesn't freeze.

No issues with Logic Pro... yet.

How old is the pc/mac and how much memory/flash?

Shit, fairly new internals... 12 GB of RAM , plenty processing power, intel i7. Don't get me wrong, Mixbus is a resource hog but this is just too consistently shitty. Maybe I need to switch DAWs again though i like the layout and especially the mixbus sound. Maybe I will run final mixes through it..

If I use more than two cabs it will. Granted I'm running a 5 year old cheapo laptop and Ableton Live Lite.

I rarely use WOS. Nadir is excellent but lately I'm liking Boogex with it's built in verb.

*googles Boogex*... Hmm, gonna give that a try, thanks!

As for WoS III no crashing here using Win10 i7-6700k 32g ram with Reaper 64bit. I've tried loading up to 4 cabs no prob... I just don't care for WoS and don't really see any advantages to using it vs NadIR.

I use Logic on my Mac, and I've found the best IR loader is the built in Space Designer plugin in the Reverb plugin category. Just load your IR, set the Dry mix to 0 and your done. For some reason it sounds more clear and transparent than the WOS plugin or NadIR plugins I've tried, and also my Torpedo C.A.B.

No resource issues with it yet.

Can we get a list of free loaders here for verb/cabs that aren't WOS or Nadir? Also going to check out that Boogex .. a little splash of verb might also be nice.
