Not to hijack this thread, but how does the Two Notes Reload compare to the Live? I definitely want to pick up one of these as I'd rather not leave things up to the soundguy.

The Reload is an attenuator with some cool features, but no cab sims. The Live is a load box with cab sims.

I see an in level and an out level on the live which I took to be "attenuator-like" in nature. Is this a misunderstanding? I'm thinking I can plug in a head and use these to manipulate master volume in and out?

The LIVE is not an attenuator. It is a load box. The "speaker thru" can go to a cab and disables the load. Either way the cab sims are available.

Got it, apologies. I was actually referring to the aforementioned "reload" unit which "Jer" was referring too. But I stand corrected on that as it is an attenuator 1st and foremost, and it DOES offer IRs out the yin-yang.

I'm sticking to the TNTL - I just took the advice of several key participants in this thread and bought it. I know jack about the reload.

The reload is an attenuator only. Well, it is an attenuator with some really cool features. It doesn't have cab sims. It completely loads the amp and reamps that signal plus a line out that can be used with DAW cab sims or something like the CAB (ignoring the other useful features). I assume it is the same load tech as the Live.

The Live is a load box with cab sims available, but it does work as an attenuator to adjust volume between head and cab.
