Youre kidding right? Why, because its well made? Sorry but a guitar dosent have to have skull inlays, bevels and white binding to be the perfect metal guitar. Its a pretty closed mined approach to the while subject actually. The player makes the guitar metal, not the other way around.. other wise youre a 13 year old with a warlock.
Yup.
Nope, You're misunderstanding, read my commetns about 3/4 posts back and the OP.
I agree with everything you're saying. as i say i probably should have named the Poll Ultimate metal guitar brand.
I'll say it again This is a poll about the what people feel constitutes the reconisable face of metal. When you were a kid, what did you envisage when you thought " i want a metal guitar?". Up until i discovered ESP thru metallica, every time i thought metal, that jackson headstock and shark fin inlays sprung into my head.
It's not closed minded as im not talking about the ultimate metal model. its broader scope than that, more generalised. my ultimate metal guitar model would be one of those charvels i spoke about. or maybe a PRS custom 24 (which maybe shoulda been included because they're marketing quite a lot of "metal" demographic guitars these days
