Slash's lead tone on UYI albums was recorded with an actual buzzsaw...

There’s one more, it actually woke me up in the middle of the night and then it surfaced…
Who’s the best lead guitarist in the Eagles?
Walsh?
Felder?
Nope, not even close.
-Bernie Leadon-
-that’s whom they cried out to for the parts they couldn’t get sorted.
His depth alone buries them.
It’s like Felder is the younger brother of Leadon and
Walsh is the bastard son of the family.
PERFECT.
RIP Glenn Frey, one of the most gifted songwriter’s
of my time.

So, what’s the most evil sounding overdriven amplifier in the world??
It’s not a guitar amp.
For those that have actually played in a band with a dude running a real B3 and real Leslie cabinet(overdriven)
-they probably feel that creepy vibe they first felt when that thing took over the f’n room.
The gnarliest sound ever.
Well.., this one is DIVINE.
And..the man who wrote Smoke On The Water
plays guitars with scalloped frets..isn’t that weird?
F’n Ritchie Blackmore man.
A Stratocaster had never looked so proper.

Even though the guitar and bass are always 50 cents sharp, Anthony Kiedes can compensate and maintain his pitch perfectly in every song.

On the Soundgarden song 4th of July, they recorded the drums and sped them up to record the guitar take. That's why the guitars sound so slow and dopey on that song. They slowed the take back down to normal for the drums, and the guitar tracks are slower.
