i need a few chourus pedals for my rigs.

i have been impressed with my cmatmods and malekko, and i am looking for pedal.

i may get a cmatmods phaser as i miss the one i sold. can be had <$80

i also enjoy the VS H2O v1 which is a chorus and delay, and can be had for $70ish i probably will pick up a second.

_________

i am considering some EHX chorus, but i have a hard time trusting EHX, and i forget which versions are more in demand/better.

I have a few chorus pedals laying around. I don't really use any of them. As far as cheap goes, try and find an Arion Sch-Z. I prefer the old Sch-1, but they are more highly sought after and therefor more expensive. The cool thing about them is if dialed right, they get a really cool Leslie effect. You can usually find an Sch-Z for under $50.

Jacques Meistersinger can be had for under $100, great pedal. I sold mine last year as I just don't use chorus that much and still have a Maxon CS-9pro

I always liked the Mad Professor Electric Blue Chorus and there are usually some used for ~$100.

Awesome! I will give them a look.

I know it sounds different from the average person looking for a few reasons. I just have rigs to fill, and I use a lot of different rigs, and as much as I like the idea of the best one out there, I need three that will do the job well. But not junk either, I just like to jump on any rig and be ready to go.

Cheers!

No need to explain. Just like with guitars and amps, different tools for different situations.

Used Pigtronix Quantum

For dirt cheap, I like the good ole Boss Super Chorus

Nah, I know, it's just I am not in a normal scenario gear whore. I just don't move things around to different rigs. Plug and play kind of thing.

Wow, as coincidence would have it, was just browsing Louisville/Cincinnati Craigslist and there is one for $100.

I recently picked up a Mooer E-lady flanger (cheapest of the cheap I know) and it has been a pleasant surprise. I bought it to do Andy Summers sounds which it excels at.
It also does a good early, swirly VH thing.

Digitech Hardwire CR-7.......I have used one for years and love it.

Does it have to be below the $100 mark? Still some good ones there. Both of the MXR pedals. The old BBE Mindbender. Of course the Boss stuff. And as someone above posted, the Digitech Hardwire. All of those are good IMO. Even some of the old DOD chorus pedals sound good. The Jaques is a fantastic sounding pedal but I finally got tired of the noise with mine. Was near unusable on heavy stuff.

I recently went through quite a few chorus pedals from Carl Martin to Providence to MXR etc... and kept two. The Boss CE Waza and the Neunaber Inspire of which is currently on my board. Best of both worlds with an analog fix and digital fix. I also have the Keeley Dyno My Roto which does a really good chorus as well but I was using that for Rotary sounds....which I replaced with the Neo Mini rotary pedal however the Keeley is nice, so keeping it. Had the Jaques been usable with lower gain sounds, I would have kept it as it was Alex Lifeson in a box, but man the noise.

Btw/ I don't run chorus in the amps loop anymore, I started preferring it in front several years back.

I really want to keep it under $100 or not much over.

I will take a look at the keeley dyno my roto

I am not really on board with digitech. I have had a few MXR's that I have liked, but not the new ones. I may look for a Commande one now that I think about it.

I will look at the BBE. I have had some of their stuff and have loved it. Especially their cheap TS clone.

Thinking keeley seafoam may be one.

Likly going to get another cmatmods phaser (I miss mine)

I am going to hunt for Maxon or an older MXR in rangw

I am going to get a second VS H2O for $60ish, you can't beat it and I enjoy mine.

A bit pricey for what you get. I had one a long time ago, and I payed a fraction of that and made a decent chunk.
