I've always had my eye on the Ox but have been hesitant. Not only is it pricey, but the word is that it doesn't do high gain tones very well. They have now released a firmware update that makes it way more enticing:

I waited, I was pretty sure when the WAZA was released, UA would put some needed additions in at some point. Its a much closer fight between them now

Glad they finally did an update on it. I bet it sounds great! I wish that update came sooner when I had one.

After having the Boss Waza unit previously though, I would be pretty hard pressed to use anything else. There are so many features on it and sounds amazing.

Glad they finally added V30s Don't see myself unloading the Waza anytime soon but competition is a good thing!

Yes, lots of options is a good thing! My main attraction to the Ox is the room mics, and just the IR's in general. I've dabbled with some Ownhammer and Celestion IR's and it get's overwhelming fast. Everything in the Ox just seems streamlined and oozing with quality, but again the big question is can it do the brootz. The youtube clips look promising, but in the end it's a fucking chunk of change!
