unloaded 2x12

so I was looking at avatar's 2x12 cabs and realized they sold unloaded cabs. I like my current speakers i just want to get a more reliable cab, mine is currently a 'homebrew' (read: terrible) 2x12 that needs to be replaced.

any other suggestions for buying discount 2x12's unloaded?
 
Id look into a Splawn.
Only $350 for a great quality unloaded 2x12 with your choice of tolex and grillcloth.
There are 2 Splawn dealers that are members here as well - Chubtone & joshsage.
I've bought a Charvel from Curt and a Splawn 4x12 from Josh.
They're both top notch, can't go wrong either way IMO.
 
the avatar vintage cabinets are built by bogners supplier. mojotone makes great cabinets too but are pricier.

ultra cheap are lopoline and ab custom cabinets.

I bought an unloaded lopo 2x12 from Craigslist before, still in great shape! I tried with Vet30's and Legend V12's.
It sucked! It's probably the wimpiest 2x12 I've ever played! You get what you pay for. :thumbsdown:

I took pics and re-listed it on Craigslist a few days later. :rock:

They are not identical. THe Bogners are a nicer built cab, but the Avatars are nice for the price. I posted pics of both 2x12's and 4x12's a few years back. I do not think the same company builds both.

AFAIK they are built by the same supplier. they are outsourced by avatar. all the cabs are. I know they are not identical cabs.
 
I am ordering one from Mojo. They are sending me samples so I can get a matching cab for my head. If you need something to match Mojo is the way to go. Avitar only comes in Black, which I guess is fine if you just need a blk cab. Mojo also builds theres to Marshall specs.
