Update LACS confirmed by ibanez! Super stoked!

No serial and the sticker residue might mean it's an LACS. I believe they put on serial numbers with a cheap sticker. I'm not a huge ibanez fan boi, but I'm not familar with a production guitar that looks like that. The lacking inlay, fixed locking bridge, binding, and control layout all look unusual but not unheard of for a production Ibanez. Maybe it was refinished, but I'd lean LACS.

Edit: definitely not LACS based on the pics below.

judging by the pics it is an ibanez mtm2 . someone sanded the front of the body and stripped the paint off the back of the neck. i have owned a couple of these and they play great

That screw in the middle of the bridge looks odd.
You might try jemsite too.

That is a pretty decent score if is an LA Custom shop. Well done! Looks like a unique piece!

:)

Dude, only thing better would be if you got a SMOKING deal on it, cause dude didn't have any idea what he had...HNLACSD!

I have an LACS and it actually has "LA Custom Shop Mace Bailey" printed on the back of the headstock. Not sure if they were all done that way, but you can kinda see it in this pic:

This one had a sticker on the back which was removed by the previous owner at some point.....still some residue which is super unfortunate but hey what can you do.....Ibanez is still looking into specifics and I hopefully will have a better idea of who it belonged to in the next few days.
