Bought this prototype jetcity earhart amp a couple of weeks ago after Jet city decided to not go forward with production of this line, not sure what happened there as I think it's a pretty killer amp. Saw the two prototypes listed for sale and instantly got a very, very bad case of gas and bought one for $1500 (hoping I was getting a very cheap cornford MKII clone) never played the cornford so can't say but it is a sweet amp for sure.

Anyway this is my first youtube video ever or any video for that matter of myself playing. Got a Zoom HQ3 a little while back and just now started filming. I'm a little embarrassed to admit this but I'm just a 40 yr old dude who does not know lots about computers and posting pictures or videos, so this does not come easy to me. I've been surfing the web for the last 12 yrs but surfing is ALL. Don't even own a smartphone, not sure I could figure it out

So I get this big idea in my head that I'm gonna post this video and my only other video of me noodling on my bogner 101b without the post 2004 gain mod. Hit the start button on both videos and instantly start clamming up :D So then I go and accidently post this post in the damm classifieds and had to redo it over here.

Thing has a gob of usable gain and Extremely loud with a lot of low end for fifty watts.

Any chance you could post pictures - both outside and gut shots? Just curious...

Will work on that, although gut shot pics are all over webb...looks absolutely identical to the guts of the cornford with the exception of only being wired up with one effects loop with the cornford having two.

That actually sounds really, really good! I wasn't blown away with the MKII when I test drove it, but for that price this is phenomenal!

Playings kind of crap but bumping this up for the night crowd hoping someone who either owns a Cornford MK or has spent time with one can weigh in on wether or not it sounds even remotely like the Cornford.

Sounds really Good!
Definitely has its own thing going on.....and thats a GOOD THING!!

Added another Earhart clip to my Youtube page but can't seem to get it to work on here, tells me video is not available when I add it to this post. This clip is with less gain. Video would be much longer but I can't bear to let the whole forum hear my clams. Also can't get the volume out of my Q3hd as loud as I'd like. Check it out on my Youtube channel if you want to hear it. I've got several Boogies, some bogners, among others and this one can hang with any of them.

sounds really good to me!! wonder why they didn't go into production. not enough market for the price?

That would be my best quess, got to admit I really like the amp and I think it is top notch but to pay $2599 for a Jet City is probably far fetched. I myself would never of paid for a new one at that price but mainly because it is my own personal rule to only buy used amps in that kinda of price range.

yeah that is a steep price for a jet city, though not saying it isn't worth it, I just think they probably saw that they are indeed marketed towards entry level pricing and not much of a market for that price, however, that video, the amp sounds amazing....

Very, very likely the reason. Thanks for checking it out, I value your input from hearing your clips and especially the fact that they are all original material. Inspired by others original stuff here I put together that rythym last night and recorded it this evening. I'm all new to this recording of videos. Before last week I had never recorded myself, now I just gotta figure out how to forget the recorder is recording and relax a little.

Wasn't there some shady bid-niz involved? Illegal copy of the Cornford circuit or something to that effect? Sorry, I might be way off on that, just thought I read that. Either way, it sounds REALLY good!
