You seem like you have some decency to you and aren't necessarily a troll agitator like JD. He appears to say shit just to try to piss people off where you come off more as general fighting with opposition. With that I'm going to give you a little unsolicited advice. There are a number of people who frequent OTC who are all for civil discourse. It may not seem like it but myself, @Floyd Eye @Findthetone1 @Robostyle @311boogieman @VonBonfire and yes even @Picasso will discuss topics in a rational manner. Thing is we've all been here for a decent bit longer than you and we've seen far too may people who just want to come in and stir shit up. Because of that the go to attitude; expressed in the most extreme by Picasso, is to say "fuck it, you're here to cause trouble. I'm just defaulting to insults". Some just get caught in the crossfire; you may be one of them. Attaching yourself to JDs Couch doesn't help you either. So far he's proven to be here only to cause trouble.

In contrast @JohnnyGtar @theclev @Thumbpicker @TheGreatGreen @espquade and a few other's I'm missing and even @NoHassle; who I've given a lot of shit to recently, all have differing points of view, but they're not here to troll. Yes we get into it with them and throw insults, but it's all in the spirit of OTC. Outside of political bickering we could all get along just fine. If we met in real life we could all easily have a beer, shoot the shit and have a good time. Hell, as much as Picasso goes after any lib even he's becoming cool with JohnnyGtar; and trust me on this, they've gotten into it pretty rough. As said, the differentiating factor is they aren't here to purposely cause trouble and troll the forum.

The unsolicited advice part is to detach yourself from JD Couch or anyone else who's shown themselves to be a complete troll. And yes, there are a couple of right wing trolls here too; just ignore them. Sure, get into the mud with opposition, but keep in mind it's just OTC. If you really want to discuss differing ideas and opinions in a OTC civil manner you really need to move away from the bullshit trolling like JD Couch does.

I could, but I'd have to go back too far and just don't have the time or energy to do that. @Picasso joined RT before I did. From what I've backtracked and heard from other members he started off as a contributing member, but got fed up with the constant bullshit from trolling libtards. (For clarification I consider a libtard as someone who just attacks right leaning people and holds communists ideals with no rhyme or reason for doing so). While I don't agree with or think the ♥️ the cock thing and calling people faggots as he does accomplishes much other than generic pushback I do understand where he's coming from. I do get the frustration from not being able to have a normal conversation with someone of opposing views. I'm using a little hyperbole here; but it's hard to have a rational conversation with some blue-haired raging shitlib who's only POV is orange man bad without wanting to lash out in aggravation. I suspect Picasso just got tired of putting forth any effort into debating people who were just here to cause problems and hassle other members they didn't agree with.

I don’t know bro I’m yet to see him engage in a rational conversation with those of the same or opposing views, the fact that it’s so much effort to even find an example says a lot.

I'm not going to comment more or speak for anyone on this subject. I only know what I've seen and heard. I'll let @Picasso fill in the gaps if he chooses to.

I was responding to @JamesTiberiusKirk and you jumped in singling out Picasso from the multiple members I tagged. Like I said I'm not going to speak for him and don't have the drive to go back over several years to cite specific examples. If @Picasso wants to do that he can. I don't need to be his voice. He's more than capable of speaking for himself.

Fair but you were speaking on OTC as a whole. I singled out Picasso because the other members you mentioned actually engage in a normal way. I was curious if the guy had ever engaged in any genuine way.

Well first of all, that took some time and some effort, so "thank you" for that.

I said earlier here, that I reply in the same tone as I get. If Picasso's reason for being the way he is, is as you said, too much bullshit (in his view) from people with different political opinions as him, maybe he needs to relax and take a little break and come back fresh.

Let's face it though, both sides are deeply entrenched in their views and I doubt anyone's going to change. I've never seen anyone change their views and I've changed my views on only one major opinion in my recent years and that was not through online dialogue. That view was Israel. I used to think the Israeli govt and the Israeli state was needed to keep the middle east stable. I no longer think that, I think they are the major de-stabilizing force there. And note this, and note it carefully - I strongly distinguish between the Jewish people and the Israeli state. So don't anyone even bother with the antisemite barbs - you'll just be showing your ignorance and inability to perceive subtle but real differences.

Lastly, I don't dislike anyone here. I don't even know you so how could I? I do enjoy the banter and occasional mud slinging. It's amusing.
