I've wondered: if Iranian leadership ONLY could be taken out, would the population then enjoy their freedom enough to demilitarize and fall in line as a peaceful nation? Or will it always be a totalitarian Islamic regime promoting hate for everything American?

Netanyahu is horrible, but he is even worse lately because
-He is up on corruption charges as soon as he's out of office and he's guilty as hell, and
-The coalition that keeps him in power is made up of the most far right elements of the Knesset, i.e. Smotrich and Ben-Gvir. They hold the balance of power so Netanyahu is basically their bitch. Essentially this whole war has been dragged out so one man can avoid jail.
