For a Tele-Parts-O-Caster?

Full monty - body, neck, finish, etc.? I'll be going with BKP Tele pups, and aftermarket ashtray bridge (Callaham or the like); proper electronics.

Just getting ready to either go this route, or the route of a Suhr Classic T or the actual Fender route.

Thanks

All three mentioned here make great stuff...you really can't go wrong.

I've done 6 guitars with Warmoth. In my case ive found the quality to be pretty consistent. Especially
As of late. I was kinda talked into trying uscg neck
For one of the Warmoth bodies I had lying around.
It was nice and all but not the same feel. As for me, I'm sticking with Warmoth. A ton options and affordable

USAGC gets a vote from me. I'm sure warmoth makes stuff of equal quality, but Tommy has always done me right and is a super nice guy.

you can't go wrong with either. I also second Musikraft. I have a ton of Musikraft custom ordered necks, a few USCG bodies and a Warmoth neck, all are good quality. I just didnt care for the big ass routes on the Warmoth Charvel/Jaskson'ish bodies and you only get one neck pocket size.

I've heard nothing but good about usagc but the multitude of options from warmoth were what kept me going back...

They sent you a tele neck instead of a strat so since the OP wants to do a tele part o caster he should be good.

Ask around and find out what the "builders" buy to make their awesome guitars.......................

Tommy also offered an upgraded birdseye for the mistake. Good business.

I think you can land on a good result with any of the above. Spec them out, make sure the specs you want are available, and then price them out and make a choice based on price and availability of the specs you want.

Example - I don't think warmoth will put a 22nd fret on one of their 'vintage' necks. Musikraft will.

Warmoth has a selection of necks finished and ready to ship. Musikraft doesn't. USACG has some ready to ship, but not finished (painted).

So on and so forth...

Appreciated. A lot of this is less to do with price than it is 'quality'. Hence my investigations ;)

Alright, let's put it this way...

A poll of sorts :D

Mo

since you made me choose I picked Musikraft as I have 8-9 or their necks and am pleased with the quality and Jim is easy to work with. I love my USAGC bodies tho but since I ordered the necks to my specs (I like fatter necks and bot V and C shaped porfiles) they get my nod :)

also unles you have something totally unique in mind for the body why not just buy a used Fender or Charvel tele body and marry it with the tele neck?

I'm just busting your balls.

I have a parts guitar that I built using Musikraft a body and neck that, in may ways, rivals my Anderson. I picked up mine off of ebay (Musikraft sells under the user name jamerson guitars) and it was cheap!

I have a few warmoths ...necks, bodies, and even a complete guitar. I also have a few parts guitars assembled from allparts (although it has nitro, ) a sick Jamerson (Musikraft) and God knows what else. Out of your choices I would have to say that warmoth and musikraft will definitely hook you up, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the above.
