Ok, totally serious here... since I know nuthin about the Uberschall why would that amp be worth 10k used when a Rev. 2 sold for 3k?
Do they sound that much different or is it just a rarity thing or?

That amp as been modded personally by Reinhold Bogner for the owner, he has 2 of them and want to sell one. Since Reinhold doesn't do mods anymore, it's a pretty rare amp. From what i heard, it's like a supercharged Rev 2 Uberschall.

That said... the original v1.0 and Rev2.0 Ubers are arguably 2 of the worst sounding high gainers I've ever owned. I've owned several of each. Couldn't pay me enough to use another. I'd take a Rev Blue over either one.

I think you're crazy but to each their own. Hell I've heard the SLO in situations that made me say meh, same with the Twin Jet. Sometimes you just need the right chain and a little time to get that aha moment with an amp. I don't plan to sell my Rev 2 but everything has a price. I've heard the sellers here on video and it's definitely mean AF and I do believe it was modded by Bogner but damn. 10k? And he declined. Whoever offered that is rich and crazy but I get the rarity thing. No way in hell I'd pay 10k for any amp ever unless I was just stupidly rich beyond belief.

It's a pretty sick sounding amp IMHO. But knowing the limitations of what it is an excellent Uber can do, it's up to the Uber purists searching for that Uber experience who'll pay whatever it takes to get the Uber sound. To each their own.

I wasnt bitchin' at all so I hope that wasnt directed toward me. I was just curious what would make it a 14k head and someone to have offered 10k for it. No trolling or pot stirring. There are some pretty rare Camerons, Boogies, Friedmans..etc and have not seen one listed for close to 14k. For that money I'd really love to hear it.

I don't think anyone is bitching as much as we are laughing. It's a steep ass price for an amp that isn't even 'artist owned', not that it matters to me at all if an artist owned any damn thing lol. He sounds like a clown in his ad also, and we are just having fun at his expense.
I'm sure its a cool amp, although Ubers aren't my thing.

Like it matters if you are a competent player or a complete noob...as long as you have the cash right??

Ultimately though if someone really wants it, they'll pony up the cash.

Personally if I had 15K to spend on an amp, I'd save 8K and buy the Mark IIC++ Coliseum on ebay.
