Using a clean boost in the loop, any issues?

I have a BYOC tribooster, currently I use it as a solo boost on the clean boost setting at the end of my pedal chain in the front of the amp. When I am using the distortion channel on my Marshall Silver jubilee I use my EQ pedal as a solo boost, the problem is I always use the EQ pedal for some songs to tone shape, and then I have to move the slider to boost the solos while playing.

Has anyone used an BYOC tribooster, MXR micro amp or other clean boost in the loop for solo boosting? If so do you put it last in the effects loop chain?

My current effects loop chain is: EQ --> Chorus--> Delay --> Line6 Verbzilla.

I also have a visual sounds volume pedal, which can be active or passive. I tried it in the loop of my orange rockerverb 50 I used to have and it didn't sound right.

I use a boss Blues Driver pedal for a lead boost. I put it at the end of my chain in the loop. It depends I guess if you are using any gain on it or just completely clean. if its just completely clean I would say at the end for sure, if your adding any grit and you want the grit to be effected anyway, I would say put it after the boost. I look at the signal chain in the loop as another chain before the amp...does that make any sense?

A boost pedal in the loop has always worked the best for me,
because you're not running the risk of clipping the preamp tone-
you're just bumping up the signal level of the preamp and sending
it to the poweramp.........

I use the mxr micro amp for lead boost in the loop. i tried everything, and that pedal worked the best for me without shaping the tone. Only problem is that i have an original 70's one without the LED so sometimes that can be a pain because not know its on during songs or i just forget i guess. )

Put it last in the chain (even in the loop). Otherwise you will just be driving the input to the other pedals, and you won't get near the volume boost.

Well I tried my BYOC triboost in the loop of my Marshall 2553 silver jubilee. In order to get a volume boost, I had to set the Tribooster high enough so it was producing distortion when I kicked it on. It just didn't sound right there, so its back in front at the end of the chain. Maybe I will try a volume pedal in the look next.....
