Great stuff. They make a lot of the cabs for the boutique amp guys and the stuff they sell on their own brand is just as high quality. I highly recommend them and know the owner well.

I had Conrad build me a 412 slant. Just as good as any high end cab ive played.

Going to have to check these guys out for sure. Really like that convertible 2x12 they have.

The more I think of it, the more I would go with a convertible. Half open back just opens up the sound in the room and it can add so much to the tone of an amp/cab when you mic the rear.

Yeah man. Kind of a "best of both worlds" scenario. The pricing seems solid. I left them a VM as I want to see what shipping is going to look like on these guys. The black bronco tolex with seafoam panel would look killer!

Pretty sure they make cabs for a few of the smaller high dollar builders. If I don't pick up another Avatar cab down the road, it'll be a V Boutique instead. The Bluesbreaker style half back 2x12 looks really nice.

I'm starting a similar themed business building cabs here soon. Any business pointers anyone might have for me?

They either did or still do build for Bogner and they were building Friedman's cabs at one point. I'm sure there are other big names.

Man, that is a tough business to get into. I may be preaching to the choir, but I would say as with any business, great customer support, focus and a true sense of showing you care will go a long way. Because as good of quality as you may have, there will be issues and taking care of the customer will help the brand more than having the best cab (quality must be there though). There are a lot of great cabs and I'm not sure there is a true disruptive design that can supplant them. So I'd say if you love it and show that love and care for the people who buy it, then that'll show through.

Good luck man. With all the new cab IR's out there and brands like Suhr and Two Notes pushing the reactive load technology, I'd think it's a very hard business to break into. Not to be a debbie downer, if you love it, it'll work out.

I got the 1x12 standard - open back. Best cab I have ever had and motivated me to sell all others. Sounds very big- it is 26" wide and can fit a small box head. So cheap and so good, a real revelation and it is my favorite cab with my IIC+.Can't recommend it enough.

Are you selling speakers as well? If so, offer a small selection from several different speaker manufactures along with the full catalog with a longer wait. Sell unloaded cabs as well. It can be hard to find unloaded cabs out there. Make it clear what your cabs are made of, and offer different materials. A lot of the big names out there don't advertise what their cabs are made out of, at least not up front. Gotta do some digging to find that information.

Convertible cabs are wonderful. Half-back and fully closed back with 2 removable panels.

If you want to sell a really unique product, PM me. I've had an idea floating around for awhile now. :D

Yes.

they have built for diezel bogner and many others. I had a "diezel" 2x12, cheap and kicked ass. Paying for the logo name is for suckers.

Just spoke with the fine folks at V Boutique...

Some interesting stuff in the works there and ol' boy is a SUPER cool cat. Yours truly may or may not be in possession of a few cabs to demo in the near future. We shall see...
