Vanden Plas: "The Seraphic Clockwork"

Just got it in from Amazon a couple of days ago. Awesome new CD. If you would like to hear a different flavor of Dream Theater with a better singer, you can't afford to not give these guys a listen. At times I hear a little YES and KANSAS influence going on also. This is the 3rd CD of theirs I own ("Far Off Grace" & "Christ 0" being the other two) and these guys keep getting better and better. Check them out when you get a chance.

I've been into them for years. Love their Christ 0, Far Off Grace, and Beyond Daylight albums. Still got to get this one. They seem to get better and better with every release, so I'm looking forward to it. Wish I could travel to Germany sometime to see their musical performance of Christ 0. It looks pretty epic

Get the DVD as well (if you like musicals) . It's another one he made into a stage show (luckily it has subtitles for the german parts). He got the rest of Vanden Plas to play during the show as well

I'll Have to check out this one. Didn't like most of their older stuff at all. The singer is very annoying to me.

Not comparable to Dream Theater at all IMO.
