Vandenberg "Burning Heart" solo cover with Kemper

Hey guys- been over a year or so since I've been here.

Thought I'd share this cover I recently did of one of my favorite melodic solos ever- Vandenberg's "Burning Heart."
I tried doing an arrangement that incorporated all the key guitar parts including the harmonized/layered pre-solo.

I did it to 1. get myself back into playing 2. To mess around with iMovie on my Mac.
I tried lining up the video to the audio to the best of my ability. Better in some parts than others.

The main solo is my LP Standard into a Kemper (The AmpFactory JMP profile IIRC).
I did the backing track using EZDrummer2, a Yamaha Pacifica 510v into LogicPro Amp Designer, Taylor 714ce acoustic, and MusicMan SUB Bass.

nice job! I really love the firs 2-3 Vandenberg solo albums. Adrian had a big influence on me as I started play shortly before they arrived.

Wow... thanks for the kind and encouraging words guys!!! It's always nice to hear from fellow players.

Yeah- those Vandenberg albums were great. I first got into him cuz of the 80's Whitesnake hit videos, only to later find out that he only played the solo on "Here I Go Again." But I'm thankful that it brought me to his older work. Burning Heart, Wait, Welcome To The Club, Different Worlds, the solo to "Too Late"- tasty, unique playing. I really dug the singer as well.
