So it came to pass that Tribe Of Hofund released our third Electro Folk album since 2022, Vanir Wars. There are enough albums now to speak of traditions. One is that you will always find at least one tune in 5/4, one in 6/4 and one in 7/4 on the albums preserving the art of odd and compound meters. Often you will find more.
Another is that all the drama always has a happy end. The first album, Dawn over Folkvang, ended with a wonderful dance by Freja. The second album, Underworld Whispers, ended with Odin experiencing the grace of the surface light when he returned from his journey to the underworld, learning about Ragnarok and his own death. In Vanir Wars, we shall witness the happy return of the ships once the war between Aesir and Vanir is over.
