Variable rackmount power supplies

Done with all the wall warts and I want a rack that has 9vdc to 24vdc outputs. What am I looking for?

The Powerstation only does 9V, and I think you might end up with a custom job if you need to go up to 24. That´s some thirsty gear you´re running. The most full-featured one I can think of that ever was commercially available is the current CAE/MXR MC403, and by combining some of the isolated and variable outputs you might be able to get what you want. Check it out.

I forgot about that one, it´s definitely a step up from the MXR but also quite a bit more expensive. And if it´s actually in stock somewhere I guess it´s safe to buy it, too.

yeah or you can simply rack up some new CIOKS power supply, super compact and super powerfull....you can put them in the back of the rack or in a drawer (fixed or movable)

Yeah, the outputs are isolated so you can use a doubling cable to get 9V or 18V. I don´t know if there are tripling cables out there, but that would in any case overshoot 24V and get to 27V.

I have a Strymon Zuma on a rack shelf. The Zuma is slighly higher than 1U though, if that makes a difference. 24v is going to be the wildcard, probably with any of these solutions. The Zuma has two outputs that can be switched to 12v, and I suppose you could use a doubling cable. That would only give you a single 24v supply though, and it would depend on what the current draw is on your device. Each output on the Zuma is 500ma @ 9vdc.

The rack is full and a rackmount like the power station is ideal. Hopefully I can find one.
