I still cannot believe that the producer heard the solo to cult of personality said good.
 
Wow... He better pay his tech a boatload of money to set that up and take that down every night... Christ
 
I find it beyond overkill...to the point of being stupid...lol
 
I love LColor. Great tunes, great performances, unfortunately crap tone everywhere.
 
I think the first two Discs from LC are killer. They were awesome live too. Vernon didn't have the greatest tone but I kind of dug his style. You definitely could recognize it right away :lol: :LOL:
 
Looks like Vernon Reid is high on coc in that video... poor drummer looks bored out of his mind and really working to keep the beat up while that barrage of notes assaults his ears. Feel horrible for these guys, the bass player and drummer are incredible musicians and always in the pocket and they have this f-ck up fusion hack $hitting all over their grooves. Yikes. Hearing other players, can they honestly look at Vernon and not think he sucks???

First off the rig. Man, Vernon...there has to be an easier way to go about all of that. With the insane technology out today...95% of the people out there, I wouldn't actually say "You need an Axe-FX" but I think you need to seriously investigate heading down that road...maybe even 2 Axe-FX. Setting up that rig has to be such a hassle.

Those videos posted, he's just way too loud in the mix/ playing way too loud.
 
What about the bass player?

As soon as the original bass player Muzz Skillings left, this band was finished, IMO. Clip sounded like shit. The solo was actually not bad till he got to the changes and he just mowed thru it with no regard. F8ck these guys. First 2 albums are best

Sure did :) Everything was very dark sounding, most of all his guitar.

Amazingly SRV, EC, Jimi, and NUMEROUS other REAL guitarists managed to make music without a computer....
 
Wow! I seriously laughed out loud when he started soloing and it didn't change. Speed, phrasing or the Key! I needed that.
