Here is a pedalboard that I did for one of our fine men serving the United States Military overseas.

The client wanted a pedalboard that incorporated all of the pedals that he had been collecting over the years and make everything useable together once he returns to the United States when his service is complete (any day now apparently).

It's got some pretty cool and hard to get pedals on it (KOT, Sun Lion, Aqua Vibe, etc.). It's got some great boutique gear here, but DAMN - this MONSTER sounds awesome!!!

INTERFACE:

Passive Input for Fuzz, Input Buffer Insert (following Fuzz), Dual Output Buffers (for A/B or Stereo Out at the end of the chain), EXP pass-through to use the EXP function out of the Boomerang by plugging into the interface and keeping the pedal off-board.

POWER SUPPLY:

2 x Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+ (not all of the taps are used on the second PS, it is modified internally to give more current to the Aqua Vibe - 300mA)

ORDER OF PEDALS:

INTERFACE (passive input), FoxRox Octron 2, FoxRox Aqua Vibe, Analogman Sun Lion, MXR Script Phase 90 RI (modded by Analogman), INTERFACE (input buffer), RMC Picture Wah, Wampler Ego Compressor, TIM, Analogman KOT, Fulltone OCD, Xotic RC Booster, Analogman Mini Chorus, Strymon Flanger, Maxon AD-999 Analog Delay, Skreddy Echo, Diamond Tremolo, Dr. Scientist Radical Red Reverberator, Boomerang Loop Sampler (with EXP to the interface), Lehle Little Dual A/B/Y Switcher, INTERFACE (dual output buffers to amps)

Whoa! :inlove:

So much but-looks SO clean! Nice work as usual sir

I just dont get the point of pedalboards like this. Im not knocking the work, its nice and clean. I just dont get the point of 18 pedals on a board without some kind of switching/routing system...

Agreed Kage!

I'm not really even sure who uses this stuff anyway. Bedroom players and maybe guitar players who gig that never leave their board. You've got to entertain man. Pay attention to the crowd that came to see you. I rarely pay any attention to my board live. I only look at it if I feel like using a wah for a part or to kick some delay on and off.

Anyway, the posters work is awesome. Very clean. Nice pedalboard.

Im putting together a board that has 8 pedals, all going through a Musicomlab switcher that not only can put together any combo of FX that I want but it can switch my amp channels, all with one button stomp( 2 if I want to use my wah) everything is layed out in presets and it purpose built for me to play guitar, not tap dance.

Nice clean board, nice work, definitely not for me..

That's bigger than most stages I've gigged on.

He's just using it at home to overdub himself and play (hence the Boomerang). We talked about a loop system, but it wasn't practical for him for what he was doing. It's 20 pedals if you include the buffer/interface. CRAZY!

This one is definitely not for gigging - this is for a home player. I would have discouraged this if it were for live use without any sort of roadie. It's already close to 60lbs. and with the case it's pretty close to 80lbs.

Are you putting together yourself cage? Didn't want to go with the Providence? The Musicom is great too!

Im up in the air at the moment Mason( about the switcher and putting it together myself) I like the features/layout of the Providence better than the Musicom but I like size of the Musicom better

BTW, I can understand the layout for a non gigging board now that you mntion it but if it were mine, Id still want a switching system regardless..

I liked the features of the Musicom better than the Providence. Correct me if I'm wrong but with the Providence, you have to dedicate one or more of your 8 loops for amp channel switching, while the Musicom has dedicated connections for amp switching as well as 8 loops for pedals.

It depends on how you want to do it I think. Both the Providence and the Musicom have MIDI and thats what Im using to switch my JVM. Should I want to use it on something else, Ill just hook up an RJM AmpGizmo to the MIDI and still retain use of all of my loops for pedals...
