So every now and then I go to the Hamer Blog to see what the latest projects are and just to learn from the man Jol Danzig himself and I post in one of the threads asking Jol to hook me up with new knobs for my Monaco. The years of abuse led to two knobs breaking and the third having a crack present. About a 1/2 hour later jol responds with numbers to call and received my knobs today.

Not too shabby to have the CEO take care of a customer imo

BTW for anyone into guitar construction, here is the website....

Love them or hate them there is killer information about true handcrafted guitars and the shop itself is very cool, a 1900s factory that sits on the Farmington River in New Hartford. I would love to have a Sykes styled Monaco made someday out of that factory

Pics of a neck being shaped exactly the same as a customer's favorite guitar.......

The customer is Jon Herington btw.

Wow. If Hamer weren't so expensive, I'd be in their family again after all those years without one.

I had an Artist for a number of years and ultimately let it go. I couldnt play the high gain stuff with it (feedback issues).

I still love Hamer's quality and would sure love one of their Explorer styled fiddles one of these days. Top notch guitars, those.

There was a guy on TGP selling a 59 burst Monaco for $1400 MINT about a week ago, that guitar sold for $3000 new.

The power of the label I guess, works for me though cause I will buy one of them and Sykes it

Jol and I picked out all the wood out for my Monaco Elite at the CT factory. What an amzing guy and an even more amazing guitar.

I kinda chuckled when I read the title,
somehow the words CEO and knobs makes me laugh
when they're both in the same sentence.

Cool story+guitar BTW
