[VH4] Chanel change with the PatchMate 8 Floor

Hello,

I have a Diezel VH4 amp, and I would like to know if it was possible to use the Loop 8 Floor PatchMate to change between the 4 channels of the amplifier, as the MidiMate or Midi Xchange ? (via MIDI, not with jack).

I have not found the answer in the manual, but I may have looked bad...

Hi,
I have this looper and I don't think it can send program changes, just receive and transmit them to the following MIDI device in the chain (in my case, the amp).
I tried a few minutes ago to change my VH4 channels with the unit alone, but it doesn't seem to work even in PRESET MODE. You can use the Patchmate alone to store and recall up to 8 presets, but I'm pretty sure they can only control the internal loops, not the MIDI channel switching of the VH4.

I use it in combination with a MIDI pedalboard to recall the presets (along with the channels of my amp) and I couldn't be happier. It's a very powerful and flexible unit, but imho you need to add a MIDI controller to get the most out of it, especially if you have a midi-switchable amp like the VH4.
