VH4 first band trials last night.

It's starting to steal me away from Herbert. Something about the crunch vs the sear of the Herbert. Love both though.





 
I had a Herbert and VH4 at the same time, the VH4 has lasted in my stable for considerably longer. There is something really special about the way the VH4 reacts to the way you play rhythms that is totally addictive. On another note you guys are solid, good drummer.

I can't see myself selling my Herbert because every time i record with it magic comes out but for live use i think the VH4 might take over.
Thank you about the band comment. This was our 3rd or 4th practice and on our first we knocked down 16 songs because of our past experience in cover bands. Our drummer has been playing since he was very young. He's super solid and has groove which i really need in a drummer. I can't stand stiffness.
 
Great singer (pulling off Cornell!) and great taste in covers.

Troy has some pipes. One of the best singers in our area!
 
Keep both. They both cover different ground and excel at different things.
