I just been wondering if the Celestion V30 would compliment well with the p50es if i were to do a one side p50es and the other V30?

I recently acquire a Herbert and a VH4 but these amps dont sound in full potential with i hook these up to my VHT 412 p50es...

I also do have an arsenal of VHT amps that i like very much... i have just no idea if the V30 or K100 will compliment p50es with at 16ohm mono and stereo i still can getta flexibility of hooking up two cones RHS p50es for my VHT and LHS V30s or K100 for my Diezels ....

Has anybody got this experiment b4 running two p50es and two V30s/ K100 ?

V30s will be a lot louder and will drown out the p50es. Which I personally think would be a good thing.

This +1.

The P50E speakers suck @$$. Horrible, horrible speakers. Just stick in 2 more V30s and be done with them.

I had a K100/P50E x pattern in my fb412 for a few years. Honestly all P50E sounds way better.

No idea on V30's but generally speaking I'm not a fan of V30's.

Am not sure how can i swap speakers to suit both my diezel Herbert and vh4 to sound as good as these vht amps i got in a 412 box...

I own a straight FB cab and replaced two of the P50s with Eminence Swamp Thangs and it's a heavenly mix! :)

I love vht/fryette cabs, but can't stand p50s. I used v30s, centeury vintage neos, H30s, 70th anny, and even greenbacks in both fb412s and D412s and they all sounded great. P50s may be my least favorite speakers ever.

Ditch the p50e's and go with K100's. They are a pretty safe go-to IMO and should do well with both amps.

I ran my Deliverance P50E 4x12 with a V30/H30 and V30/greenback 4x12 cabs and didn't care for the results with several amps.
I only messed with it maybe a hour....so who knows ?

I didn't like the Deliverance 4x12 with a VH4. Only amps the I use with the Deliverance cab is my Deliverance 120 and Sig X. I use other cabs with the rest of my amps.

I would consider this. K100's alone have been great with my D-Moll and are no slouch with my Fryette/VHT's. I still probably prefer the P50E's for the CLX, but even on my Sig:X, the K100's are a better fit.

I loved K100's with my sigx last time I had it hooked up. Diesel (never owned one) sound good with K100's I think that is the best combination with the least compromise.

I’d swap the p50s with Fane F70s. When I had my Herbert, it sounded a lot better through my Fat Bottom/Fane cab compared to the Diezel K100 cab. If you’re gonna use k100s, I’d blend them with v30s

K85/K100 sound good with all my amps. I have been using this speaker since the 80's. It was my main speaker back then for many years.

I think I have 42 guitar speakers here. What I use really depends on what I going after.

Honestly, I feel the same way about the all of the "british-inspired" Eminence Speakers I've tried.

I dig my D412 with P50’s with my D60. Haven’t used it with anything else.

I’ve also got a D212 with the Fanes. Dig it too.

I agree totally. They IMO are probably the best all around speaker I have. Not always the best for the application but across the board they get the job done. I mix them with V30's most often and I love them. They work with everything from Orange to Rivera to Mesa, etc and do the job quite well.
