VHT/Fryette cab owners come inside, please

I picked up another VHT/Fryette Fatbottom cab 4X12 in the slant. It sounds great and is not all beat up. Got a great deal on it. I have come to the conclusion that I really want to try the deliverence cab. Any of you guys want to trade let me know.

I almost think the combo of the 2 vht cabs is too much of a good thing. Listening to the mix of my Engl Pro XXL with V30's the fat bottom cab is a better combo. Maybe a speaker change is what I am after since VHT makes great cabs. IDK WTF I want!

Any recommendations on speakers to put in the VHT? It's been a long while since I tried a Greenback. I had G12K100's as well. Much better than the G12T-75's but still not what I think I want. Solid bottom end, smooth present mids and not too harsh of a top end.

Have you ever tried a splawn cab with greenback speakers or greenback type speakers ? Sounds pretty awesome man, Ive tried most of the high end cabs and its up there. It sounds incredible with the Cobra, better than the matching cobra cab.

I have not. Have heard good things about them and they are reasonably priced. Think I really need to revisit a Greenback speaker. It's been years ago and many amps ago since I tried one.

I agree on the Splawn loaded with GB's. It sounds hugee, and warm. Pretty damn solid, and tight in the bottom end as well, but with a sag, to be expected from Greenies. It feels great to play as well, responds very well, and just feels massive underneath your fingers.
