VHT/Fryette Deliverance amp demo

I was able to borrow a D120 for a fly in date a couple years back and it’s burned into my memory as an incredible amp. I didn’t have time to understand the 2 gain knobs since it was plug and play on stage basically but it still sounded fantastic. Its on my short list of amps to own someday, though I think the D60 would suit me better probably.
Really cool amps.
 
Maybe I had a bad one or maybe the D120 Series II is that much different from the OG, but I couldn't return it fast enough. I love an open/drier amp, but the one I bought wouldn't saturate at all regardless of boost and setting. It was wayyyy too open/unsaturated, dull, lifeless. I had a D60 Series II I liked better than the D120, but the OG D60 still sounds/feels way better to me than the Series II...to each is own of course.

Could be the preamp tubes that they use now.
 
Redid this one had a hard time accurately capturing it. Think I did a better job this time around. Here’s one with two tracks panned right and left. Obviously headphones or an actual monitoring system and not your iPhone recommended.
