Your opinions on the Sig X as compared to the UL and Deliverance.

Comparatively speaking, they're relatively comparable but comparatively different.

You're welcome.

Can I quote you on that?

Seriously any Sig X owners out there? Tell me about the Sig X

I've got a Sig:X but I don't have enough experience with the other Fryette amps to comment. Sorry...

Pros and cons of the Sig X? Seems like an incredibly versatile amp with a ripping high gain tone

Yea, it's awesome. Clean channel is awesome and I set my rhythm channel up to be similar to the clean channel, but with a hint of breakup and a little more cut. The rhythm and lead channels can be set up any way from nice cleans to an awesome high gain tone. The only cons I can really think of is that the high gain tones, while being versatile, still won't get you the hugeness of a Recto or the aggressiveness of a 5150...but that's really just that it's got it's own thing going on. It would be the only amp I own if it could do that, but I've still got other amps around like a Recto and 5150...just my two cents.

Strange i compared a VHT UL to my modded 5150 and thought it was every bit as aggressive. So maybe the UL is more aggressive than the Sig X ???

I believe that you already have, having believed that it has already passed.

Bob do you still have the clips where you played a song with the uber and then later with a VHT? I think I remember an old thread where you compared the two?

I'm sure I have them but would need to find them.

Gotta go VHT but definitely like both. Miss my old Uber sometimes

I like the Uber clip better. The lead playing on the Uber clip is friggin' killer too! Really inspired!

Here's a clip of my Sig. Goes through all the channels. Sorry for the low volume but it was a killer amp.

Honestly the Fryette and Splawn amps are perhaps the best tones I have ever had. The Sig got plenty heavy and aggressive for me.
