Hi guys i basically got this nice relic from GC not long ago... and its wired currently parallel for 117VAC amercian voltage mains...

I would like to know if any kind soul who own a CLX or Classic from Europe or Australia could help taking a clear snap shot of the wires running from the Power transformer to the main green power on/off switch like that as shown on the pic attached?

I currently have a white/whiteblack and a black/blackwhite conncted to the terminals of the VHT classic on/off switch (Green laminated one) the brown/brownwhite is capped and not in use.

I think this must have been a parallel connection as it have two wires connected.. I am very keen to know hows the connection like for a 240VAC to be series connected.

if not wrong for series it should have only one wires connected indicated "0 volts or neutral" and another "240 volts or live" to the on/off switch and another two wires connected for series connection, and two extras not in used to be capped.

kindly hear from any guys out there who are willing to help in my conversion from 117V to 240V thank you !!

afraid they are quite unwilling to give out instructions thou i have the technical skills to handle basic live wires. :-(

Email them and just ask which lead is for the power supply in your country. They won't give out that info? Strange.

maybe i shall try emailing them on how the wiring is like... hope i have my question answered ?
