VHT2502 + CAE3+SE = godly!

Sorry guys but lately i have been completely in love and totally diggin' this preamp and poweramp combo!! Through my oversized Bogner 2x12 it completely rips! All three channels to my humble ears sound incredible, it's like blackface/cranked plexi/hotrodded marshall tones but huge thick 3 D sounding and smoother than typical marshall high treble frequencies.

I am gratefully in tone heaven.. wow.

That is all, simply put, i am done.

Seriously speaking any other proud owners or players of CAA amps etc?

Is your CAE a "new" version? I'm just curious as somewhere on this forum a difference was mentioned between the early versions and later builds.

There is a 3+ and an SE3+. I have the non SE version which I prefer - but I'm sure others would like the SE better. Either way great preamps and congrats to the OP - great rig.

It is a cae3+ SE, so yea newer 2008 model. I wasn't expecting it to sound this good when i bought it but, MAN it just sounds so huge and fluid, i have never had this with any amp where it is SO good that i keep wanting to go back to play and hear it again. I wish i could understand the components of this and how/what makes it have such a unique but referable sound.

I have a 3+SE with tranny mod, Blackface mod and crosstalk mod. I run it with a VHT 2150 and that combo sounds killer. This is the third SE that I've owned and this one sounds the best due to the mods. Enjoy your rig!
