Hey guys here's a fun little video from this past week. Hi Res clips start at 11 minutes. Enjoy!

Nice!!! The screams were wicked and the tones were gold! :)

I thought there were a lot of great tones in there. I found myself digging the Gold Top with the Aldrich but so many others I really liked.

That very first guitar, sounded wonderful. That black standard has tone in spades. Great amp as well. Fun video. Thank you

Yep, really like the video and REALLY like the “Ask James” video series. Dude you are a great resource for all things music/studio...EXCELLENT!

That means the world.

Really cool idea James! Not a bad tone in the bunch really. Makes me think after playing nothing but Customs for awhile I need to pick up a Standard again.

listened with a good set of headphones.

i thought the stock pickups sounded great. just a tad too much bass for my style of play.

the wcr godwood and the wb firewater were my overall favorite with the wcr beating out the firewater.

but i have always prefered lower output pickups into high gain amps.

I thought the EMG's had the best sounding sustained chords. Dipthong effect. Learned a new big word from watching too much of the Doug and Pat show on YT. :D

Best lead sound was the WCR.

Cool vid, James! Always cool to see you show your face around here. That Iommi sounded really thick and massive! And you can't ever go wrong with a Godwood!
