You are the reason for my pedal gas lately!

I ended up with a completely different pedal setup and am really happy as well with my AC15 HW...your rig sounds great!

I'll try to make a you tube vid as well when I'm done.

Ha ha! Yeah man, let's hear the tones you're getting out of your rig! I had that AC30CC2 a while back and loved it, but ended up trading it. I think I'd like the Twin more for what I'm doing, because it is scooped, but you never know.
The AC15/AC30 HW is much nicer sounding than the 90's AC30 I owned or the CC's I've tried. If you see one definitely check it out.

So far I'm very set with...
Buddwah -> MXR Dynacomp -> MXR 'EVH' Phase 90 -> Xotic BB Plus (dual pedal, covers classic and heavy gain) -> MXR Carbon Copy -> into clean amp
I also have an S.I.B. Varidrive that sounds fabulous which may make it's way on my pedal board, but the BB Plus really covers everything for me easily.

Looking at a chorus pedal now...either an Analogman Bi-Chorus or a Retro-Sonic Stereo Chorus Ensemble...I'm leaning towards the Retro for that Boss CE-1 sound

Cool stuff! My board exists of:

BYOC Phaser > Krank Distortus Maximus > Lovepedal PP800 > Plank Cranker > MXR Carbon Copy > SubDecay EchoBox > Boss GE7 (lead volume boost) > Boss TU2 Tuner

I also have a Budda BudWah that I'll add at the beginning sometimes, but I'm just not that big on wah and never really have been. I can use one pretty well I think, but I dunno. Just never really used it much.

If you like the delay/modulation type of effects, check out the SubDecay EchoBox. Beautiful chorus tones. Check out the YouTube video from ProGuitarShop where they demo it. Really nice.
I may need a lead boost....good idea. Soundmen don't usually care about boosting solos. ;)

I'm not a big wah fan either but my band plays some stuff that calls for it. The Buddwah is tame sounding, I dig that, it's not screechy.

The Carbon Copy sounds great to me for an analog delay. I leave it set subtly (delay time at 12:00, mix around 11:00 with only a bit of repeat) so I can leave it on most of the time to fill things in nicely (except for dead stops in songs I'll switch it off).
The demo of the SubDecay does sound great!

Sounds great man, that Lovepedal is impressive. Looks like a good solution for a gigging rig that you've got going, easier to lug around than a stack, maybe not as much fun but the drunk guy in the bar don't give a fuck if it's a 5w gorilla or a 100w marshall. I'm not really a fan of pedals for distortion but I could live with that rig for sure.

Chris, I liked the clips and have always been a big fan of combos with pedals. One pedal I have that has an interesting tone is the Menatone VOS. Its a VOS with boost added but can also be used as a clean boost by itself so in the end you get three for the cost of one. The VOS new was $300 but a keeper for my board. I just picked up a Keeley modified TS-9 Plus Mod and on my small Les Paul Jr amp it sounds amazing. I will give it a go on my 20 watt rig at my Church gig Sunday.

It's interesting to see some people love it and others not like it at all. lol! Strange how that works... I think we all know that I love this rig! It's very easy to setup, versatile, and sounds killer to me. What else is there???

Nothing:D

I still haven`t gotten around to have a tech fix my amp, but when it`s finished, I think I`m going to try one of the HBE pedals, or the Option 5 destination overdrive. I think that might do the trick because of the mid control. The Mark 1 isn`t "scooped", as I believe I saw you describe the Twin as. It`s a loud fucker, and I have a closed back 1x12" that`s a little less honky compared to the combo itself. The cleans are lovely when using only the internal speaker, but when using overdriven sounds, the mids need some taming.

And I agree completely about the GE-7! I`ve been using one as a boost a LOT of ways. One of the coolest things I did with my Koch Powertone was boosting the high mids and level on the GE, and slammed the input of ch.2. It sounded so incredible tight and heavy. I can imagine doing the same on a DSL with not too much gain yielding the same kinda result. From rock sounds to very metal with the click of a pedal. It was noisy as hell, of course, so a noise gate for live playing would be necessary.

The VOS is good for clean boost, a creamy overdrive, and a clean boosted overdrive. The overdrive is on the Dumble cork sniffing side of the equation but much less $$$$$$ cause its a pedal. I use it for solos and smooth sounding background chords with a smoother kinda distortion, like rolling back the treble on the tone knob of the guitar. I use the clean boost quite a bit with my single coil guitars to even out my sound when switching between the Gibsons and the Fenders. But the clean boost can be used to boost another pedal to solo etc.
