Video Demo of the Bogner Pedals

That video does sound terrible! Reinhold did a video with premier guitar at the show. Reinhold was playing so loud one of the guys from the booth next door started screaming at everyone as the tape was rolling. I spent a lot of time with each pedal at the show and they are the best pedals I have ever played.

Guys that was an off the cuff video filmed by a third party, nothing official even if Gustavo was in it. I have heard from Reinhold and others who say the pedals are amazing. Take that video for what it is, a trade show less than optimal snapshot in time.

Sounds like they captured the "blanket over the speakers" quality with the XTC pedals. The Uber pedal actually sounds decent...nothing like my Uber sounded like.

I understand that there is a "blanket over the speakers" meme out there re: Bogners, but I don't get it. Oh well. And I have owned a '68 Marshall SL, an SLO, a 20th Shiva, and an Ecstasy.

The Ecstasy uses an audio taper treble pot, versus the linear taper most amps use. This means when the treble is at noon on the Bogner, it's like 8:00 on most amps. So, you either compensate by turning treble or presence up, or complain on forums that Bogners sound like crap because you adjusted the controls with your eyes instead of your ears.

Exactly. Because you CAN set up an Ecstasy to cut your ears off.

Interesting thanks for the 'fo!

The RED sounded best in the vids on my iPhone. But the Blue and Uber have always been my fave on the amps. Cool stuff! Especially when you're outa cash to buy amps!

If the Blue sounds close to the blue channel on the XTC, I'm interested.

Had an XTC for a year and a half....it was a dull amp no matter how it was set, what speakers used etc.....wanted to like it, just didnt work for me.

Also had an Uber.....this Uber pedal sounds a million times better.

I think they sound cool. Really like the Uber one. Good guitar playing, nice to hear some finger snot on a demo, sounds like rock-n-roll to me.
