I owned a BE-OD for a week and honestly, while I can hear and see the quality in the pedal, it just wasn't for me at all. Personally, I think the only use for this pedal is to be like a distortion channel in a box for guys playing through clean or low gain amps. It does not work at all as an overdrive pedal in my opinion because even with the internal and external gains all the way down, when you turn the pedal on, there's a bunch of gain, almost like an OD pedal with the dirt all the way up. Not even sure why they call it an OD in any way really. However, when you do add it to a clean tone, it really does a nice job of creating a very tweakable and powerful gain channel just like you are using an internal gain channel in an amp. However with any gain in the signal, kicking on this pedal's gain clashes with the other gain rather than stacking with it. It's also a VERY quiet pedal for the amount of gain inside it. So if you are a player with a clean amp or low gain amp that wants to add straight fire, get this bad boy, if not then avoid it.
