Figured I'd make a vid of my amps using the same cab/speakers (Bogner 212 with V30s) and same guitar (R9 Les Paul CC#24) with the same riff.

... adjusted the subject for you :D
Dunno why but that shiva sounded a LOT thicker.. totally preferred that one!

One sounds a little thin, but then with bass and drums would probably cut nicely and sound great. Another one sounds thick, but again with a band, may be lost.

Funny how what sounds good solo usually doesn't work in a mix.

I'd love to hear some more of the Shiva.

I'm off for Veterans Day so this is fresh off the press, just made.

He's running the BE with the presence set really high. It's (the BE) not set anywhere close to as thick as you can get it to go.

True the Friedman can do thick but I had both the shiva and BE presence around 1:30-2:00

Nice video, man!
You got great gear! :)

So, I liked all tones... :D

Works well for a overall comparison.
But it would be interesting if all the knobs of equalization and gain were in the same position, in all amps.
I mean, considering that the amps were in different settings, you can not tell the real difference between them.

Don't know if I made myself clear!

Anyway: Great playing, great tone, great gear and great video! Thanks for sharing!

You are the only guy in history to make a BE sound thin. hahaha

That Shiva doesn't sound as horrible as I remember mine sounding. Couldn't sell it quick enough.
