I will be honest here, I can set a Floyd with the best of them. But, it's a major pain in ass, and it's not mybfavorite thing to do.

Talking about the guy in the video. He is exactly like someone I know who drank himself silly. Lives on the streets now cause he cant hold down a job. 5 years ago you would think they where brothers. I hate alcoholics.

so much ignorance, he removed the string tree to get to the truss rod. I can't believe how people pay money to get this kind of guy "setup" their guitars... amazing.

Well its amazing that anyone would pay anyone else to setup their guitars to begin with.

I second that. No one knows how to set it up the way I like it except for me.

In my old steady band, before a record we were doing, our manager took our guitars to "Get Setup", got them back and it sucked, action super low, 9 gauge strings.
I play 11's and a pretty high action, spent 2 hours getting it back where I like it, and the intonation re-set.

hes funny as hell...C#??? why haha...those edge trams are shit imo and the hardest guitar to set up is a ibanez with a edge trem they do suck..what kind of ahole plays in C# with a floyd anyway?? strings are the wrong gauge too..

Maybe it’s because I’ve done it a zillion times but changing strings on a Floyd isn’t too different than a hard tail if you stick an eraser under the bridge. Just a few Allen screws to deal with is the only difference.

Floyds are really not that hard. I can restring a floyd twice as fast as it takes me to restring my nylon string.
